Languages have always been my entire world. In the last 10 years, I have gained experience as a Business Advisor at Business Sweden by helping Swedish companies find suitable partners on the Czech & Slovak market. Knowledge of languages opens doors for your business, helps you make new friends and brings a lot of enjoyment to your life. Once you start learning a foreign language, you cannot stop, especially when you have motivation in combination with a good teacher. I like mnemotechnic methods and effective practice – this approach helps me to remember grammar and vocabulary. A solid base is the most important aspect of learning – let’s work together to build a base for you!
Language Consultant, Interpreter & Translator, March 2017 – present
Business Advisor at Business Sweden, 2006-2017
I have participated in projects aimed at Swedish companies looking for business partners in the Czech & Slovak republics. By analyzing both markets and opportunities there, I gained critical insight into different fields (some of them were very specific and exciting at the same time: lifting equipment, software development, etc.). There were also other tasks, such as organizing seminars and conferences, local accounting and reporting to HQ in Stockholm, etc. A great experience in a number of ways!
Tax Assistant, KPMG, 2005-2006
AR Accountant, Accenture 2003-2005
This was my first contact with the accounting world and clients from the Nordic countries. I got useful accounting training, lessons in Norwegian and German, and had the opportunity to work abroad (Scandinavia, Germany).
Bohemia Institut in Prague, Marketing and Managerial Economics, 2002-2003
Italian and Swedish Philology at Charles University in Prague, 1997-2003
Certificate of German, Goethe Institut in Prague, 1998
Jan Amos Komensky Academy in Prague, post-secondary German studies, 1997-1998
Italian Gymnasium in Prague, 1992-1997
I like cycling, as I am convinced that one of the best views a person can have is from the saddle of a bicycle. My special passions are for the Hebrew language and culture, reading books and, of course, spending time with my family.
